This lovely project started out as a Hardwood flooring replacement and we ended up also replacing the stair treads to Solid staircaps which were finished to match the new hardwood flooring, In this particular case we used a white riser which matched up very nicely with the existing stringers. Solid stair caps can be sanded and stained to match almost any colour of hardwood flooring and really adds to the look of the house. This project called for rod Iron for the handrails and pickets, this also adds another natural element to the house which really brings everything together very nicely.
