This is a very common question people ask and the answer really will depend on the type floor and the overall usage it gets. Most flooring manufactures have their own cleaning kits and guide lines which can be found on their respective websites. Most wood floors are very low maintenance they come finished with very durable finishes that do not require any type of re-oiling and or cleaning detergents.
A simple dry mop will do the trick in most cases or even a lightly damp mop will work. Using different types of cleaning products will eventually damage the finish on the floor and will over time leave a residue which will be very difficult to remove.
We highly suggest review the care and maintenance outlined for the manufacture you decide to go with.
